Here's a pic of me and my dad, Joe Sr. at Sloane Kettering in NYC this past winter before he passed over. Always sporting a smile he was so encouraging to me in his last days to run for Congress and give em hell and get my Music out to the World as life is so short. Dad especially liked my 20 song Musical Rough Tracks we listened to together in his kitchen at home in his final weeks titled "The Madonna" a very religious work based on The Rosary which is waiting in the wings for me to get out to the public. The First song from "The Madonna" I wrote back in 1973 on my 1909 broken player piano I got for free. I Had to haul it out of someones basement in West Hartford though; dad helped me haul it and the event made him realize how committed I was to Music.
I haven't posted here in a while because I have been busy on the campaign trail, in production for the Music video's, running my construction business, getting my 3 kids ready for college and school, serving on the Town Council and working with my arranger on adding 4 more tracks to my upcoming CD. The new song titles for the CD are:
Heartbreak Boulevard : An old time Country sound with old time lyrics, we may be using the washboard and Ukulele.
Can't You See: An Arabian Dance Song with a Driving Bass line I wrote in 92.
Saying it all with Love: Upbeat and corny but hey, it works.
Mr Media: Political is the best word to describe this anti-media tune with lyrics custom made for bloggers. When the Media sells out as they have we are all in peril, I call em out here, what did you expect?.
